To access the filtering options faster, add them to your Quick Access Toolbar. Note that you can quickly tell how your mail is currently sorted, by the presence of a small triangle on the field headers. Another options is to use the Filter Email button on the ribbon. If you're using Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016, uninstall and re-install iCloud to resolve this issue. The loading of unregistered MAPI services has been disabled by default to make Outlook more secure. This issue affects all Outlook versions on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10.

The built-in Fix Outlook Support back-off mechanisms in the indexing component of Windows Search or WDS pauses the indexing of Outlook data when the system is under heavy use. The easiest way to let the indexing finish is to leave Outlook running overnight.Additionally, you can reduce performance issues by running Outlook in Cached Exchange Mode. In this mode, Windows Search or WDS searches the local copy of the mailbox instead of the mailbox content on the server. I even reduced mailboxes sizes and that didn't help, I setup a new user (albeit existing PC but new windows profile), and he is having the same issues. If the mailboxes open automatically after removing them and restarting Outlook, they may be auto mapped. This setting can be changed by an Exchange admin by submitting a request via Jira and including the usernames of the client and the usernames of the mailboxes that need to be removed.

The navigation pane is the leftmost pane in Outlook where you'll Fix Outlook Support find your folder list and the icons to move between Mail, Calendar, People, and Tasks. Running the /resetnavpane command removes all customizations to the navigation pane. If Outlook is NOT able to start in safe mode, then try the next proposed solution below, entitled Create a new Outlook profile.

To resolve this issue, switch Outlook from read-only mode and try moving your PST file from external drive to hard drive. You can check that the Outlook configuration settings are correct and your internet connection is stable. You may also temporary disable your firewall or antivirus program to check if it’s responsible for the error. If the PST file is corrupted, you can try repairing the file using the Inbox Repair Tool (SCANPST.exe).

If you manually type in the secondary connected account email address in the "From" field, the email is sent as "On behalf of" your primary Outlook.com account. A software rollout over the weekend was deployed incompletely, causing one component to send a high volume of messages to another component that had been deleted, overwhelming the routing plane servers. Availability has recovered, and engineers are investigating the root cause and identifying Fix Outlook Support problematic servers. The team is sweeping all remaining capacity to identify and address residual issues. Get Help has troubleshooters for classic Outlook for Windows you can run for many common scenarios, such as Outlook startup or profile setup problems. These often help resolve issues without the need to contact support.

MAPI does not validate that a provider's DLL that it is requested to load is registered correctly in MapiSVC.inf or even that it comes from the local machine.

To disable this feature, you'll need to edit the Windows Registry. It's incredibly common to have Outlook crash because of a corrupted PST file. The indexing feature is essentially a catalogue that is built from all of the information you receive in your email. Your searches refer to this catalogue, so that you don't have to check every single folder and email for a term.

To access the calendar shared with your Microsoft 365 for business account, you'll need to accept the invitation from Outlook on the web, iOS, or Fix Outlook Support Android. If you've already clicked the Accept button in Outlook 2016, you won't be able to re-accept the invitation from another Outlook application. The person who sent you the invitation will need to remove your permissions and then send a new invitation. This issue has been mitigated and we are continuing to monitor the issue to ensure stability. The root cause was the deployment of an incorrect campaign data file, which led to false positive campaign detection. We have since reverted to the right data file and the outbound email flow has returned to a normal state.
